Accepted Links
Have you submitted a site and have not found them on the category where it was supposed to be listed?
A web directory is a collection of different links in the world wide web.
As opposed to a search engine where it displays websites basing on keywords, a directory displays them according
to categories.
If your site has been accepted, sure enough it is in the directory. The search box may be used to locate your
submitted link. You may enter keywords or you may search for your site by typing your domain name. For example your website is http://www.yoursite.com, you can type in yoursite.com in the search box and it will show your website together with its corresponding category. However, it might surprise you to find it in another category.
To explain, theadlist.com transfers a link based on website review, link description and the amount of other
related links that have been enlisted. This is part of active editing. New categories or subcategories that are more suitable to these site/s
may be created to accommodate these links. This is to the advantage and benefit of both the site owners and users. By avoiding mixing
too many unrelated links in only one general category, users will be able to search the directory easier and sites are
given more chance of exposure that it deserves.
Rejected Websites
Links are accepted based on the accuracy of the title and description of the submitted link as against to the actual website.
Grammar plays a very important role. It is imperative that sites are represented well in the directory. A bad description not only
degrades the quality of a directory but it will badly affect the website itself. Misrepresenting a website with thoughtless
descriptions and poorly constructed sentences harms its reputation. As such, theadlist.com will reject a site
submitted carelessly.
It is however encouraged that whenever your link has been rejected that you make the necessary corrections. And try to
submit it again in the directory. Theadlist.com will always be glad to take a look into it and accept it according
to the set guidelines. Please check out our General Guidelines
for your reference.
